That is why Delta Dental of Washington offers the TotalHealth wellness program.

How it works

TotalHealth wellness program provides increased dental benefits for members with qualifying health conditions.

Who is eligible?

You are enrolled in a participating Delta Dental of Washington plan
(The TotalHealth wellness program is available only to members whose employers have opted into the program. Additionally, it is not currently offered for members with individual or family plans.)

Confirmation of successful enrollment will be sent via email along with important information about the benefit. You will also receive information on how you could manage your chronic conditions better and improve your oral and overall health.

  • Other auto immune diseases
  • Other neurological diseases

*Limitations
Periodontal maintenance procedures are covered only if a patient has completed active periodontal treatment.
Additional cleanings for pregnancy will be available in the current Benefit Period after you notify us of your pregnancy and for one Benefit Period thereafter.
For all other qualifying conditions besides pregnancy, additional cleanings are available in the current Benefit Period and for each Benefit Period thereafter, as long as you continue to have one or more qualifying medical conditions.
A maximum of up to four cleanings are allowed in a Benefit Period.
